Pricing & Health Funds
The majority of patients are self-funded. Pricing is variable depending on the service, diagnosis and the time of delivery of treatment (standard vs weekend vs after hours)
Vision Vibes Orthoptics holds six-weekly weekend sessions in a rented facility. Contact us to know when the next session is.
Medicare
Medicare Claiming does not generally cover orthoptic services but is limited to children with pre-approved disabilities. Contact us to enquire about your child's eligibility.
NDIS
Patients on existing NDIS plans can claim back part of their orthoptic assessments. Valid referral from GP or specialist is required.
DVA Card Holders
DVA Gold card patients are covered for a limited number of orthoptic treatments in a given year.
Valid Referral from GP or specialist is required.
Private Health Funds
Patients with Private insurance covering "Eye Therapy", "Orthoptics Treatment" or "Orthoptic Consultation" can claim back the full amount or part of their consult fees depending on their policy. Please check with your insurance provider prior to initiating a payment. Currently HICAPS is not available, patients will need to pay in full prior to claiming back via their insurer.
